Throughout history Plovdiv had different names: Eumolpias, Philippopolis, Pulpudeva, Trimontium, Puldin, Filibe and others.
Long ago, incredible structures were constructed in the ancient city of Philippopolis – places of worship, art, knowledge, and entertainment. All of them have been preserved in the city – you can see authentic parts of stadiums, theaters, and forums, and even walk on the streets where Roman emperors used to walk.
If you want to skip the big groups of tourists and still go back in time and explore the city’s past, this is the right game for you.
