If there is anything we love more than good wine, it is people who know how to appreciate it… and solve riddles between tastings.
For the third consecutive year, we took part in the Young Wine Festival - one of the most beautiful and lively festivals in Plovdiv, organized by the Tourism Council of Plovdiv. Once again, we spent three days in which our beloved Old Town was both a playground and a place for delicious food and wine.
Stambolyan House - Our Home during the Festival
From November 21 to 23, 2025, we were located at our stand in the Veren Stambolyan House (point 17 of the festival route). There we welcomed participants, friends, random passers-by, and anyone who wasn’t afraid to solve riddles while holding a glass of wine.
In addition to offering challenges and good company, we also provided free tastings for everyone who successfully completed our urban quest game. Six teams even left with a bottle of wine for their impressive performance.
The Game - “Bound in Stone: The Mystery”
Continuing the story from the May edition of Wine and Gourmet Festival 2025, we have created a game with:
- 10 new riddles located along the festival locations
- a route of ~1 km
- a balance between logic tasks, observation, and reading details
- a walk through the beautiful cobbled streets of the Old Town, which seem to tell legends themselves.
Over 40 teams took part in the game, adding a pinch of adventure to their weekend between the sips of wine. The riddles led them through squares, courtyards, architectural gems, and those hidden corners of Old Plovdiv that only a player with a mission can discover.
Three Days of Excitement, Laughter, and lots of Curiosity
The participants were of all ages and interests - couples, families, groups of friends, tourists, puzzle masters, and absolute beginners. However, they all had one thing in common - the desire to have fun and experience the festival in a different way.
Thank You for your Trust
We would like to say a huge “Thank you!” to the Tourism Council of Plovdiv for the invitation and trust for the third year in a row. And an even bigger “Thank you!” to everyone who joined in and played with us - we are delighted that you once again embarked on our adventure.
Until next time - we will be waiting for you with new riddles, smiles, and, of course… good wine.
